Language of Bhutan
The majority of people in Bhutan speak Dzongkha, also known as Bhutanese. It is the only official language of Bhutan. It is a Sino-Tibetan language written in Tibetan.
Allowed currency
Ngultram is the common and only national currency of Bhutan They generally use this single currency for livelihood. The Ngultram was introduced in 1974, where it remains at par with the Indian rupee, the only other international currency that is easily exchangeable.
Food in Bhutan
The common people of Bhutan mainly depend on rice, vegetables and spicy food. Their cuisine is said to be a fusion of Chinese, Indian and Nepali cuisine. Popular dishes there include ima datshi (chili and cheese stew), momos (dumplings), and faksha pa (pork with radish). Red rice is a staple food.
